Data collection
SpaceLens does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store personal information, browsing history, website content, authentication data, financial information, health information, or user activity.
How SpaceLens works
SpaceLens runs locally in the browser. It only accesses the currently active webpage after you deliberately activate the extension. CSS measurements and temporary live style edits are processed locally in the browser and are never sent to any server.
Permissions
SpaceLens requests exactly two permissions, and nothing broader:
- activeTab — temporary access to the webpage you explicitly activate SpaceLens on.
- scripting — injects the local SpaceLens inspection code and styles into that active webpage.
SpaceLens does not request broad host permissions.
Network access
SpaceLens does not use remote APIs, analytics, telemetry, advertising networks, remote scripts, or external databases. All executable code ships inside the extension package — none of it is loaded remotely.
Storage
SpaceLens does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, Chrome storage, or cloud storage to retain inspected website data.
Third parties
SpaceLens does not share user data with third parties, because it does not collect any.
Changes
If SpaceLens later introduces a feature that requires data collection or network access, this policy will be updated before that feature is released.
Developer
SpaceLens is developed and maintained by One Designs.
